We're sending lots of love and prayers to Beth's aunt JoAnn who is fighting ovarian cancer and to our dear friend Gaby Bedolla who recently had a bone marrow transplant.  We love you both so much!

We had a culinary adventure today, as I had the great privilege of feeding Sam!   We're not in Kansas anymore, Toto.  These babies eat MONGO portions.  That bowl was heaped with hearty boiled potatoes and mashed meat.  The portion was definitely adult sized and I thought there was no way he would eat all of that... Wrong!  He eats from a regular teaspoon and "grown-up bowl" and the caregivers wanted me to feed him FAST.  Just shovel it down...  The kicker is that he drinks his juice from a regular mug.  He half sucks/half laps up the juice, but it goes down the hatch somehow.  From necessity, they really try to push these babies to grow up faster than normal.  They are even potty training Sam and his group at 9 and 10 months!

Another first - we've been playing "patty-cake" with Sam everyday and today he started clapping his hands on his own.  Hey, there's not much else to entertain us around here.. :)

Two more visits!
